07 JUNE 1945
 Second Lieutenant Donald F. McKeon, pilot of "Playmate Three Six", while returning from his mission to Borneo, landed at Balaboc Island and evacuated a wounded soldier from the beach. The injured soldier, Pfc William H. Tallerdy, 593rd FB-SR, was returned to Puerto Princessa and hospitalized for treatment of a fractured jaw.
