Another
view of the aftermath of a Japanese 500 pound bomb dropped in the squadron
area on the 23 December 1944.
Lieutenants Richard Finn and Harold Smith were
killed in this raid. Captain Bill Harves would have been with him had he not
been
on Biak during this particular raid.
